Liberty Balloon Company was founded in 1977 by former Navy Aviator Carroll Teitsworth. From the beginning, it has been a family-friendly business. In addition to providing an always exciting atmosphere for kids, many of those who have taken a ride, trained with them or served as crew have become like family as well. To them, flying is more than a business. Ballooning is their lifelong passion and a constant reminder of God’s gentleness, majesty, and blessing. This year, they are proudly celebrating their 38th consecutive year in business with a 100% safety record! They offer hot air balloon rides from May through November. During the off-season winter months, their balloon ride gift certificates are always available for all your special occasions. They are conveniently located within an hour of New York City and only about 30 minutes from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut. All of their balloon flights depart from Middletown, New York.
Balloons Over Westchester, LLC, is a locally owned and operated hot air balloon company that provides guests with exquisite adventures in the air. They operate FAA certified balloons with FAA certified pilots and provide balloon rides in areas north of New York City: Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess and Orange counties.Flights are scheduled on a first come, first served basis so please remember to schedule early if you have a specific date in mind. If you live in the area and would like to see if it is possible to take off from your property please let them know and they can work with you to see if the right conditions exist.
